EDITOR - So, itinerant market traders will get priority parking permits.
Rate payers who are in the town to spend money will have the scant parking arrangements reduced by 50 per cent, and the surrounding shopkeepers who pay their business rates will have half their customers going elsewhere because they can't park.

Not only that, but to be told to make their own arrangements to park themselves.
I am retired now but still have friends in business who tell me that the biggest problem they face is mindless bureaucracy at all levels.

I live in Walesby and would like to do the bulk of my shopping in Rasen which is only three miles away, but this will not happen if I can't park.

Brilliant, Market Rasen's town council has done it again. Well done guys, another triumph for muddled thinking.
It may be a tonic for Gordon but it is a sickener for others trying to make a living and provide a service to the public.
