EDITOR - The headlines of The Market Rasen Mail appear to lambaste the town once again.
Over the years, Market Rasen has had its backside kicked a few times, but to call it "Scruffy Town" on the front page of its local newspaper is of little help to its cause.

Look in any town, or city in England and you will find areas such as those photographed and described so eloquently.
It is a wonder we can entice any investors into the town with such a derogatory headline.

I have lived and worked in and around Market Rasen for many years and have met some very hard working and happy people, who live for Market Rasen, and its inhabitants.

The business people (excepting those that have subscribed to the headline] and its population in general, deserve better.
This story could have been covered with a headline that did not kick the town in the guts once more.

I hope that, if not this week, then maybe next week you are unandated with letters supporting Market Rasen from its true rank and file.

Rod Bradley
Spridlington.
