EDITOR - In response to Mark Boswell's letters in the Rasen Mail.
It would seem Mr Boswell has got a hang up about our police force, judging by the amount of his letters that are of a critical nature.

Instead of writing letters to the press, Mr Boswell, if you are so concerned why do you not do something of a positive nature for the area and become a Special Constable?
You could clearly put your time to better use than letter writing. I would also like to point out, contrary to Mr Boswell's letter, the CCTV is not monitored by the police but by civilian staff.

While I fully agree with the right to an opinion, I think the space given in The Mail to air Mr Boswell's critical views should draw to a close.

It is very one sided as police officers are not allowed to air their views in public without permission.
Mr Boswell's negative views have been allowed to go on unchallenged in The Mail for too long, it is all getting too monotonous.
