EDITOR - I have read many viewpoints over the years in the local press regarding road safety, some good, some bad but most primarily concerned with the 'nimby' culture.
However, Ms Curtis and her disappointed fellow residents of North Willingham sink to a new low by using the unfortunate recent fatal collision in their area to open a debate about an alleged annoyance to their lifestyle.

Surely when considering something as serious as a change of location some research should be done on one's future home. Missing the fact that your intended village of residence has a road running through it is rather a large gaffe but to then use the victims of road collisions as an excuse to voice your frustration is morally reprehensible.

Returning to the real issue, recent sad events have shown that a trip made for whatever reason can go suddenly and horribly wrong. Let's take it steady out there.
