An exclusive art exhibition of Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust nature reserves by county artist Bob Armstrong is being shown at Gibraltar Point National Nature Reserve.
The Wild Places of Lincolnshire show continues until Saturday 21 November 2009. All the paintings are available to buy.

ire Wildlife Trust nature reserves. The result is this unique exhibition of 22 original paintings that celebrate the work of the Wildlife Trust in its 60th anniversary year.
With almost 100 nature reserves in a county of nearly 2300 square miles and a 100 mile coastline, it was a major undertaking.
He said, "I decided to paint the nature reserves at different times of the year in order to produce a selection of paintings reflecting the wide variety and differing seasons.
“Each reserve seemed to represent a different challenge, since in addition to the usual painting difficulties, I was constantly aware of the need to achieve a sense of place."
Bob had painted the landscape at Gibraltar Point several times before and after an enjoyable day's birdwatching there, decided to push the boundaries out a bit. His plan was to produce 20 paintings of Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust nature reserves to celebrate the Trust's 60th Anniversary.
"I managed to visit 41 reserves and now have a greater admiration for the wardens and volunteers alike who work so hard to keep these precious places for all of us to enjoy."
