THE prestigious 79th Annual Christmas Stock Show at Louth Livestock Market is to be held on December 4 this year.
The festive show is a chance for all those in the farming community to get together to show off the finest livestock in the county at this traditional event.

This is a very important event to the agricultural community following a very difficult time due to foot and mouth disease and the on-going problem associated with the blue tongue virus.

The event is made up of six cattle categories and six sheep categories with over £1000 worth of prize money available. The day also provides the opportunity to raise money for charity by way of a number of activities such as the Grand Raffle and auction of donated items.

All the funds raised will be split between the two nominated charities, the Lincolnshire Air Ambulance and the Lincolnshire Rural Support Network.
