THERE'S a host of entertainment at Grimsby Auditorium this Spring - from musicals to concerts, comedy to ballet and even professional snooker.
Tomorrow (January 28) sees 'Beyond the Barricade',recreating original Broadway and West End musical hit songs, on March 16, there's the 'Pasion de Buena Vista' with all the heat and passion of a Cuban night and on april 15 'Tap Dance Fever'.
On Saturday March 20, the 'Best Blues Brothers Show in the World' will get you rocking and this will be followed by many stars of music - Peter Andre on Thursday February 25, Dennis Locorriere with Andy Fairweather Low on Tuesday March 2, Jane McDonald on Sunday March 14, the Solid Silver 60s Show with Dave Berry, Mike Pender, Brian Poole, Peter Sarsted with Vanity Fayre, the Swinging Blue Jeans and The Troggs on Thursday April 1 and The Strawbs with Martin Turner's Wishbone Ash on Saturday April 24.
In comedy, there's Rhod Gilbert on Tuesday March 9, 'Royle Family' star Ricky Tomlinson on Thursday March 25, 'Dad's Army Marches On' from Monday-Wednesday March 29-31, Jimmy Carr on Saturday/Sunday April 17/18, Roy 'Chubby' Brown on Wednesday June 9 and Jim Davidson on Saturday June 19.
If snooker's your game, why not go along and support either of two national sporting institutions - Jimmy White or Alex Higgins, with commentary and trick shots from John Virgo.
There are celebrity nights with The Hairy Bikers on Wednesday February 10 and Charley Boorman on Saturday March 27.
There's ballet with 'Swan Lake' from the Vienna Festival Ballet on Wednesday March 17 and for the children there's 'The Little Big Club' on Saturday/Sunday February 6/7, the Chuckle Brothers on Sunday March 7, Noddy on Monday/Tuesday April 5/6, Horrible Science from Wednesday-Saturday June 23-26 and Postman Pat on Saturday/Sunday July 10/11.
