Caistor Goes....Rock'n Roll!!

Sunday July 13 from 2 to 7pm in the Market Place
Caistor's Annual Free Community Festival and Street Party.

This year there's a new stage, funded by a £10,000 grant from the National lottery - Awards for All. Charity stalls welcome, call 01472 851577 to book.
Featuring this year -

Balloon Magic and Punch & Judy, with Robert Rae.
Bates and Mountain's Children's (0-11) Fancy dress competition.
Rock 'n Roll classic motorcycles.

Hot and cold refreshments at the Caistor Twinning Association Food Hall + the Co-op, Spar, Paper Shop, Brigsley Icecream, Tea Cosy Cafe (above Caistor loco).

The Annual Spar Fun Run at 2.15pm (with the assistance of the Caistor Grammar School Fitness Suite) . Starts outside the Spar shop, two mile run and finishing in Market Place. Medals for all. Sections: Adult, Junior up to 14, and parent & child sections. Prize for first two places in each category. All runners must be registered by 2pm. Office:-Multi-Use Centre (former Magistrates Court)

Featured performers:
Opening Ceremony at 2pm. Children from Rainbow Playgroup will open the event by presenting the Lion with his party hat and singing 'Happy Birthday'.

Road closures apply to the Market Place from 1 to 8pm. Please remove all vehicles from the Market Place before 10am.

Each year the Street Party provides a platform for local groups and charities to fund raise at no cost to themselves. Each year averages at least £2,000 to good causes and local clubs.

This year charity worker award winner Mary Gaughan is collecting for St Andrews Hospice and The Street Party Fund. Please give generously
