Victorian blacksmithing and Irish navvies coming to Sleaford heritage attraction
There will be a demonstration of Victorian style blacksmithing at Navigation House heritage attraction in Sleaford on Saturday, June 17.
Visit the museum off Carre Street for a look at how rural metalworkers would have done their job over a century ago.
Travelling with the blacksmith are The Molly Maguires, a living history and shillelagh fighting group of Victorian Irish Navvies, such as those that would have worked to dig the cuts, navigations and fenland drainage ditches in the south of the county.
