Worlaby's garden wonders open to view

WORLABY, one of the most picturesque of Woldside villages, will have ten of its most beautiful gardens open to the public on Sunday, June 28 from 1pm to 5 pm.

There will also be tea and scones, garden plants for sale and good wheelchair acces.

Admission is 2.50 and children accompanied by an adult are free.

St Clements church will be open, featuring a teddy bear wedding exhibition which the children will love.

Co-ordinator Liz Owen said villagers had been working very hard to get the village looking beautiful, while the ladies, and a few men of the 'Green Team' had also been working their socks off to try and get a prize again in the best kept village competition.
