Teddies have lots to look forward to
HOWSHAM villagers are to have their own Teddy Bears' Picnic on Saturday, July 11.
It’ll be a case of make your own bear at the village playing field before treating him to a very special ummer day out with fellow teddies.
The village hall and park committee is looking to raise funds from the event as well as provide plenty of fun for teddies and their owners alike. Bears can be bought for those without for 7.50
Bears have to book a place at the picnic by phoning Debbie on 01652 678768. Entry 2.50 for adults with children going free.
Teddies who have missed out, or who the bug for outings, can turn up just a mile down the road in Cadney two weeks later. Cadney Church is holding a Summer Fair on Saturday July 25 between 11am and 4pm with a barbeque and stalls in the church grounds and a ‘Teddy Bear Parachute Drop’ from the church tower.
