MARKET Rasen Catholic Church held its summer fete in the grounds of the schoolroom.

Visitors to the Holy Rood event could try their hand at a variety of games, pick up a bargain on the bric-a-brac stall or enjoy a flame-grilled burger from the barbecue.

Inside the schoolroom, there was time to relax with a delicious cream tea, buy a tempting treat from the cake stall or take a chance on the water or wine game.

Money raised from the event will go towards the ongoing costs of the church.
