A primary school that has only just formed an equestrian team has walked away with a top prize at its first competition.

Brother and sister Georgia and Andrew Marriott and Channelle Ashworth took part in a National Schools Equestrian competition at Horseworld in Osgodby .

Amazingly, ten-year-old Georgia won first prize in the grass roots challenge - beating off competition from much older pupils at secondary schools.

Overall, the Middle Rasen team came third in the competition and all three pupils were given rosettes.
