Rise in over 60s living in West Lindsey

THE NUMBER of people aged 60 to 64 living in West Lindsey has risen considerably in the past ten years.

A report by Lincolnshire Research Observatory on the 2011 Census highlights how the largest change in population has been in 60 to 64 age group, with an extra 2,482 people in the district.

The report also highlights an increase in the number of over 65s – this age group makes up 21 per cent of the total population.
