Rasen road closures postponed

ROAD resurfacing work set to take place in Market Rasen this weekend has been postponed due to the weather – so the road will be open as usual.

The resurfacing work at the A631 Willingham Road and Oxford Road crossroads was due to take place on February 11 and 12.

The work – which will now take place at a later date – is part of a bigger refurbishment project which involves replacing existing traffic lights and installing four new puffin crossings.

The six-week scheme started on January 9.
