PHOTO SPECIAL: red Nose Roundup
Sarah South with some of Legsby School's superheroes - Samuel Ward, Alicia Barnes, Lee Barnes and Layla Smith.
Buskers, baths and head shaving - just some of the ways our area showed its support for Red Nose Day 2013.
Topping the board for fundraising was De Aston School who smashed their target of £2,000 by raising an amazing £2,559.59 with their many activities.
And who would have thought teacher Kevin Mitson would have so much in common with singer Jessie J - they both had their heads shaved.
Over at Legsby, Sarah South was following a family tradition - having a strange bath.
A few years ago, her mum chose gravy, but Sarah decided green slime was the way to go and it seems everyone agreed, as she raised £400 in sponsorship.
Well done to all our fundraisers.
Nationally, Red Nose Day raised more than £75 million for projects in the UK and Africa. Donations can still be made; for information log on to www.rednoseday.com
