James Morrison Market Rasen

RASEN rocked on Saturday evening when Brit award-winning artist James Morrison was in town.

About 6,800 people turned out to see the singer-songwriter play at Market Rasen Racecourse.

The concert was the second Rasen Rocks event to attract thousand of people to the town this summer - DJ Edith Bowman pulled in the crowds back in August.

Multi-million selling James Morrison’s third album The Awakening went platinum earlier this year. And he was nominated for Best British Male at The Brits 2012 – an accolate he won for the first time in 2007, when he was just 21.

His first two albums – Undiscovered and Songs for You – have sold a combined 4.5 million copies and yielded no fewer than ten singles, turning him into an international star.

He has sold out arena tours and gigged coast-to-coast in the United States as well as in Australia, Japan and across Europe – now in Market Rasen.
