Two members of the Wragby Heritage Group, who helped in starting the group more than 10 years ago and had been heavily involved in the projects, were remembered when, two plaques were placed on the village sign on the Louth Road close to where they had both lived.
Juliet Calvert and Ian Tring ISO are fondly remembered by members of the Heritage Group.
Both sadly died before seeing the village signs erected, but had been very proud to see the production and launch of the groups’ book “Where 5 Roads Meet”.
Juliet and Ian had spent many hours, along with other members, researching the history of Wragby and uncovering many facts and details that had been lost through the generations.
The plaque, which were unveiled on Saturday, March 16, reads: “Juliet Calvert and Ian Tring ISO, who contributed so much to the production of the village signs and history book. Wragby Heritage Group. 2013.”
