Have your antiques valued for free when BBC show comes to town

THE popular antiques programme Flog It! is coming to our area.

The BBC2 show, presented by Paul Martin, will be hosting a valuation day at Normanby Hall Country Park on Thursday, July 19 from 9.30am to 4pm.

Members of the public are invited to bring along up to three antiques and collectables they are interested in selling.

Once they have been given a free valuation, the owner and a team of experts decide whether an item should go forward for auction.

Series producer Heidi Ellert said: “Paul Martin and the entire Flog It! team are really looking forward to bringing the show to North Lincolnshire. Normanby Hall Country Park is a beautiful location and is home to so many fascinating historical treasures.

“The hall and its glorious grounds will provide the perfect setting for our valuation day event. We all hope you will join us for a free valuation, if you’ve ever wondered how much your boot sale bargains or clutter in the loft might be worth, now is your chance to find out.”

The auction will take place several weeks later on Wednesday, August 15 at the Lincoln saleroom of auctioneers Golding, Young and Mawer.
