Friendship service needs your help

A NEW service to help adults with special needs has been launched in Market Rasen, but now it needs your help.

Friendship Lincs is looking for volunteer support workers for their Gateway Award groups and Social Group, as well as an assistant for the Carers’ Group and someone who enjoys table-top fundraising.

Honorary charity manager Karen Struthers would like to hear from anyone who could spare some time – from a couple of hours a month upwards.

Volunteers must be aged over 18 years of age and must agree to a CRB check.

“The qualities we are looking for in a volunteer is personal warmth, common sense and maturity, with a sense of humour and willingness to be versatile,” says Karen.”
