Dragons thunder into church event

DRAGONS come to Market Rasen this month as the town’s Methodist Church welcomes Pollyanna Pickering.

In this latest presentation, Pollyanna will be giving an illustrated talk on the Land of the Thunder Dragon - charting her expedition to the remote Himalayan kingdom of Bhutan.

This humorous and beautifully illustrated account of her travels brings vividly to life one of the remotest and least visited wilderness areas remaining on earth – and shows the inspiration behind Pollyanna’s remarkable paintings.

Tickets for the event, on Friday October 26, at 7pm cost £5 from 01652 678365.
