A WEEKEND of history is on offer this weekend in Keelby.

Artefacts found around the village, including Roman coins, will be on display in the parish church this Saturday and Sunday.

Also on Saturday, there is the chance to try your hand at bell ringing, between 11am and 1pm, and, at 2pm, Brian Davey will be giving a short presentation on the history of the priory of Nun Cotham.

Church records prior to 1900 will also be available to view.

The event will run from 10am-4pm on Saturday and 2pm-4pm on Sunday.

Entry is free, but donations will be welcome, and refreshments will be available.
