New councillors welcomed
Brigg's three newly co-opted town councillors have attended their first meeting where they were welcomed by Mayor James Truepenny.
Melvyn Oades (36) (left) has lived in Brigg for the past seven years. He lives with his wife Fiona on Poppyfield Way and is a self-employed financial advisor.
Chris Pope (54) (centre) has lived in Brigg since 2001 having served previously in the RAF. Married with two daughters he now works for the Children's Services at North Lincolnshire Council.
Mike Galvin (67) (right) has lived in the Brigg area since 1972. Now retired he previously served in the RAF and worked for Conoco Phillips and Lloyds TSB in customer advice. Married to Lynn he has two grown up daughters.
