The responsive need tool, as developed in conjunction with a number of Lincolnshire-based organisations, has received recognition not just from across the country, but also internationally.

Barbara Ball, Clinical Lead Nurse for Marie Curie Nursing Service, and Bronia Johnson , Deputy Director of Patient Care for Lincolnshire at St Barnabas Hospice, have presented the tool at national conferences.

Information about the tool has also been published twice in the British Medical Journal.

“We even received an email from a student in Wisconsin, USA, and he is using it as a model for his studies.” Bronia said.
