Happy birthday to centre

THERE were celebrations galore as 28 Plough Hill celebrated its first birthday in style.

And there was a fantastic turn out of visitors on Saturday all keen to support the at the Caistor Arts and Heritage Centre.

There was plenty on offer too to keep all ages entertained - from story telling by James Hay-Barr, poetry reading by Paul Sutherland, face painting and fun from Flo the Clown, kids crafts, heritage and arts displays, glasses of fizz and canapés, as well as delicious food in the ever-popular café.

Centre chairman/ director Roy Schofield said: “We’ve had an exceptionally busy day and thank everyone involved.”

Chris Robey, Managing Director Systematic Print Management, who sponsored the flowers at the front of the centre, said:” I am pleased to present the centre with a cheque for £300 towards the flowers for the next three years and am delighted to be involved with such a successful community-based project.

“Congratulations to all involved for an excellent first year.”
