Countdown to the Festival

THE 90th North Lincolnshire Music and Drama Festival starts in Brigg with the music classes on Monday March 8

The 2010 festival lasts until March 17 at several venues in the town. St John's Church hosts most of the music classes this week with sessions through the morning and afternoon starting at 9am and then in the evening. Adjudicator for music is Kay Tucker.

Programmes giving full details are available in Grandad's Shed on Wrawby Street.

The Society will have a new accompanist this year in Avril Harding who replaces Glyn Butler who retired at the end of the 2009 festival.

As usual the Market Rasen Mail will provide full coverage of the event.
