Councils fight over Scawby Brook

BRIGG and Broughton are in a tussle over who should represent some parts of Scawby Brook.

Broughton Town Council has expressed concern that Brigg Town Council saw fit to raise boundary issues with North Lincolnshire Council without prior consultation with Broughton Town Council.

Broughton Town Council stated that, in its opinion, the residents of the Waters Edge Development at Scawby Brook are very well represented by two Broughton Town Councillors and they see no reason why the boundary should change.

Town Councillors are still awaiting a response from North Lincolnshire to their comments.
