Best kept gardens judged in Brigg

Judging will be taking place in the next month in the Town Council’s Best Kept Garden and Best Maintained Allotment Awards. Winners will be announced and prizes awarded after the Town Council meeting on Monday, September 28.

Brigg Artists stage their annual exhibition in the Angel Suite Courtyard from 10am to 3pm this Saturday, June 27. An art exhibition will also be staged at The Angel alongside a craft display as part of Brigg Live Arts weekend on Friday 28 to Monday 31 August.

Brigg Old People’s Welfare Committee stage their annual trip to Skegness on Wednesday July 8. Tickets cost 5 from the Tourist Information Centre in the market place.

Bigby Village is staging its annual Open Gardens Afternoon from 1pm to 5pm on Sunday July 12. Cost is 2.50 for adults, accompanied children free. Proceeds in aid of All Saints Church which will be open in the afternoon, as will the village hall for teas.

Hibaldstow Village Fete is this Sunday 28 June from 12 noon to 4pm.
