THREE charities benefited through the generosity of the Humberside International Women's Club, each receiving £200.

The HIWC, formed 12 years ago by Jane Indreland, wife of Humber Refinery manager Terry Indreland, promotes friendship and provides support for women from international backgrounds or interests. It also helps them integrate into the local community.

Since its inception, the club has gone from strength to strength and now has a membership of approximately 140 British and international members. Guests are welcome.
Money is raised through raffles, Christmas lunch and other events and this year it has benefitted the St Andrews Children's Hospice, The Grimsby Breast Care Unit and the Lindsey Lodge Hospice.
