A NEW trophy has been instituted for an annual challenge to raise the flag for Caistor's annual St Patrick's celebrations.
Jenni Lowe, arts co-ordinator for the Lincolnshire Arts Project which runs an after school club based at Yarborough school, was responsible for gaining funding for the group that involved Yarborough and Grasby primary school children.

The students have now been rewarded for their sterling efforts in designing and printing a beautiful silk screen banner which won top prize in the town's St Patrick's Day celebrations. The winners received a trophy, rosette and £50 for the group; Rainbow Pre-school received a rosette and £30 for 2nd place; and the grammar school 3rd receiving £20 and a rosette.
