Lovely patio furniture for care home thanks to sponsored walk

RESIDENTS of Greenacres Care Home have some beautiful wooden furniture from which to enjoy the summer sun on the patio and beside the pond.

The staff at the home raised the money through a sponsored walk in May and Jon Waterman of Nettleton Gap, Moortown Road, Caistor delivered the chairs, table, love-seat and parasol to the delighted residents and staff in readiness for their garden party this coming Saturday.

On July 26, from 2pm, the care home at Grimsby Road will be holding its 20th garden party with stalls, fun and refreshments, cream teas, face painting, an all afternoon BBQ and games.

All are welcome, with something for everyone including a Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Lancaster and Spitfire flypast at at 4.55pm
