Hundreds still owed for Christmas trees

HUNDREDS of pounds is still owed for the Christmas trees displayed in Caistor last year - most of it by local businesses.
Councillors at their May meeting were told that around £300 was still owed and that Mike Galligan, who organised the Christmas trees, was trying to get all the money paid.


As Mr Galligan is no longer a councillor, the council elected Coun John Cole to try and get the money paid.


“I’ll get the boys round,” he quipped.
