CAISTOR'S Christmas tree is on its way.
Keith Brown from Sealord has been over to Norway to select and 'fell' the Christmas tree for the town.

Thanks to the generosity of the people of Enebakk, local people will be able to enjoy a magnificent tree once again.

The lighting celebration takes place next week - on Saturday November 29 - at 5.30pm.

Singing children from Caistor Primary School will parade into the Market Place in a candlelit procession and Mayor Steve Webster will switch on the lights.

There will be a programme of music by the school choirs and the Kingsway Printers Band until Father Christmas arrives at about 6.15pm.

The Multi Use Centre will be open from 4.30pm for hot refreshments and in the Market Place there will be mulled wine, mince pies and charity stalls.

At least 500 small trees are expected to be erected onto houses, shops and businesses.
