Staff and pupils from the Grammar school took part in the annual sponsored 12 mile walk over hill and dale taking in part of the Viking Way.
Although not as wet as last year, the walkers did encounter several down-pours but also enjoyed sun-shine along the route.

Most people finished the walk although there were a few sore feet and certainly plenty of muddy clothes!

All monies raised will go towards helping to finance the visitors from the Tivaaoune High School in Senegal when they pay a return visit to the school.

These girls look very clean at the start of the walk!

Headteacher Roger Hale is dressed for the part.

Wendy Nugent is still smiling and the dog seems happy too.
