The house has recently undergone substantial restoration and holds major collections of fine and decorative arts, especially furniture by Thomas Chippendale. There are extensive gardens with six National Plant Collections. The Home Farm has the largest collection of rare breeds animals in Britain.Tea rooms or picnics in the grounds. * Caistor Twinning Association coffee morning and childrens prize quiz at the Multi-Use Centre from 10am to 12noon. Caistor is twinned with the town of Savigne Le Eveque, near Le Mans in France. The twinning began in 1989 and next year is the twentieth anniversary. There is a trip to Savigne late October this year and the French will return to Caistor in 2009. New members welcome.
