Floods likely to strike again

REPEAT flooding on land adjacent to Redcombe Lane is a real likelihood in the event of summer storms similar to those last June.

Town councillors heard that the drains, after some repair work, were blocked again.

Council also heard of concern about drainage at the south-west corner of the Vale of Ancholme College field.
Both localities are understood to be within the remit of concern in the North Lincolnshire Flood Action Plan.
