The Town Council will pump a further £10,000 of town taxpayers money into the Angel Suite in this civic year.

Town Mayor Mike Doherty reported that the Hawthorn Residents Association wants to clear the site of graffiti and rubbish this spring.
The Mayor told Coun Eardley that other uses for the site would need to be considered if the garages were to be demolished.
* A Spring Ball, in aid of Brigg Town Mayor's Charity Fund for Hospice Care, proved hugely successful among younger people in the town.
The event was staged at The Vale of Ancholme Technology and Music College. Town Mayor Mike Doherty said the well-supported and informal ball had been organised by Coun James Truepenny, for which he was very grateful.
* Councillors in Brigg declined en-bloc not to attend a meeting on climate change at Fitzwilliam in Yorkshire next month.
Town Mayor Mike Doherty declared the location to be the home town of his favourite cricketer Geoffrey Boycott but despite the novelty attraction, he was still unable to persuade any colleagues to attend!
* Town Councillors in Brigg have donated £250 towards medical supplies for the town's St John Ambulance Unit.
* Town Councillor Jenny Bell has been appointed to represent the council on North Lincolnshire Council's Active Choices Steering Group. Re-development of the recreation ground is part of the group's sporting improvements remit.
* Major street lighting improvements are to take place in Almond Grove on the Newlands Estate in 2009-10. Town Mayor Mike Doherty told the monthly Town Council meeting money was in the North Lincolnshire budget estimate for the next year. Dog bins are also to be located immediately in the street.
