BRIGG parish church has a new curate to assist Vicar Father Owain Mitchell.
Father David Eames is to serve the parishes of Cadney and Wrawby as well as St Johns in Brigg following his ordination.
Married with two children, he studied theology at Durham University before training for the ministry.
The church has not had a curate for the past ten years.
The church's Sunday school, Peace, will restart on Sunday September 13. The previous week is Family Worship on September 6.
Today, Wednesday, August 13 there is a special holiday morning for young children called Morning of Miracles from 9.45am to 12.45pm. Father Mitchell will lead craft activities based on the miracles of Jesus.
There will also be a trip up the bell tower and activities will finish with a picnic lunch on the Millennium Green.
