PARENTS are being made aware of their rights to secure free
pre-school childcare.
North Lincolnshire Council is promoting the Government's early years programme under which all four-year-olds are entitled to three terms of free part-time education from the term following their fourth birthday.

A place must be taken for at least two and a half hours a day, five days a week for a minimum of 33 weeks. Some
three-year-olds are also entitled to free part-time places.
Parents may choose to send their child to a nursery class in a primary school or to a registered provider.

* For more details, call the Child Information Service on 01724 296629 or visit the Kidslincs website.
