02/07/08 - Majorettes ready to give shows a twirl
BRIGG Majorettes are looking for new bookings during the next few weeks and also advance bookings for next year.
With the cancellation of this year's Brigg Summer Fair there are fewer opportunities to appear in town, although they did recently do a twirl at the Methodist Church, which sadly had to be moved indoors because of the weather.
The Majorettes appeared at a gala at Crowle and are booked for the forthcoming Cleethorpes Carnival.
Twenty-five members strong in total, the group also won a recent competition in Hull.
